Excessive sweating
Reduce excessive underarm sweating with a simple, non-surgical injectable treatment.

What might you notice?
Primary focal hyperhidrosis is characterized by sweating that exceeds what’s physiologically necessary for thermoregulation. It most commonly affects the axillae (underarms), though it can present in other focal areas. It is exacerbated by heat, exertion, or anxiety, and frequently does not respond adequately to topical antiperspirants, even clinical-strength formulations.
How do we approach treatment?
Botulinum toxin type A works by inhibiting the release of acetylcholine at the neuromuscular junction, blocking the cholinergic signaling responsible for stimulating the eccrine sweat glands. This produces a temporary, localized reduction in sweat production.
It’s FDA-approved for axillary hyperhidrosis and administered as a series of intradermal injections distributed across the affected area.
